Grover Kemble Sextet: “Reflections of Ray” A consummate crossover artist and well known interpreter of jazz, Latin, and R&B, Grover Kemble has performed at NYC’s The Bottom Line, The Other End, in the Newport Jazz Festival, at LA’s The Roxy, the Spoleto Arts Festival, Wolf Trap Jazz Festival and at the famous Jazz Keller (Frankfurt, Germany). He toured nationally with Sha-na-na, fronted the band Za Zu Zaz and has played duo and group concerts with John Pizzarelli, including at the 2005 JVC Jazz Festival at Carnegie Hall.

Reflections of Ray is an exciting musical tribute to the genius of the late, great Ray Charles featuring Kemble and his sextet recreating Ray’s legendary hits and unique interpretations of country, gospel, jazz and blues. The band promises to involve the audience in a rousing jubilee honoring one of the greatest musical giants of our time!
